SIL Global Counselor Qualifications

• Qualified academic training (masters level or equivalent) in a professional counseling field that includes at least 200 face-to-face client hours of supervised clinical experience.

• An additional 600 face-to-face client hours of supervised clinical experience.

• Professional accreditation/licensure or equivalent in country of training.

• One year of overseas living experience preferred.  

• English proficiency preferred.
